Artisteer 4 and Moodle

I have now had the new product for a week or so and am beginning to feel my way around. One of the things I do is run my own Moodle site and those for others. People want their own designs on Moodle and generally it is tedious and takes a long time. Some bits that would seem to be easy are quite hard to achieve without spending a very long time -  that was until this version of Artisteer came along and with a new updated version of the recent Moodle plugin. Now designing for Moodle is very easy. Apart from a few issues like images not appearing in the header when you wish them to, I can now create Moodle screen designs much faster and more accurately than before. The best part is the editing. When the client says thats ok but ,,,, I would like this - now that can be achieved straight away.

The plugin needs more playing with, but I have copied it and installed it on Windows 2008 platforms and on my own Linux boxes with ease.  Just export as Moodle and then copy the directory to the Moodle Themes and you are ready to go.

  2. The download is available on the marketplace icon on the top right hand side of the screen. There doesn't seem to be any other way of getting this, apart from the download link. I know some poep[le running XP have a lot of problems with this link. The recommended route is to remove a few of the microsoft addons that are stopping the download. MS patches. Remove these patches: KB982168, KB979909, KB976769v2
